Lives and works in Santa Maria CA

Catalina Bertola is an emerging artist, who uses ink, acrylic, paper collage, and interactive installation to explore themes of mental health, Christian mysticism, and motherhood. Although constantly experimenting with new media and technique, a common visual motif throughout her work is an interlocking linear pattern. Repetitive geometric pattern is pushed past rigidity into a fluid tapestry of shifting form.
